Getting lost in the"Land of Morning Calm",

Travelling alone could be the least options a woman will get. The feeling of joys and excitement in visiting places is over shadowed by fear of not knowing anything about the new place you'll be, in a few days. Travelling alone could make one feel the most miserable women on earth. "How can you enjoy and rest on your plane ride if the couple next to you keeps on whispering sweet nothings, or when you disembark on the plane making your way out in the arrival area with your big luggage and oversize hand carry bag", such a pitiful sight. I travel alone not by chance but its a choice I am making, because in every trip I make, I always end up learning new things. The most recent travel lessons I get, is when I get lost in the land of the morning calm, yes, I get lost in one of the busiest city in the world, Seuol Korea, a city where small percent of the total population can understand English. I went to Korea equipped with my Korean visa, and few dollars for my shopping since I have my accommodations pre-arranged before my departure. I reach Incheon International Airport early morning of August 20, 2011.Then is the only time I realized what I have done, I feel totally strangers, my newly dyed hair copied from latest Korean Fashion Magazine is not enough to make me feel one with the Korean women at the arrival area. I still stood up there totally different from the rest, Koreans are really different their hair and skin is a real stand out. I hurriedly went out to get away from the place I know I don't belong. But getting out of the arrival area is not as easy as we thought of it. The Airport is one of the most complicated airport I'd been to, its like a labyrynt the more you get in, the farther you get and before you knew it your lost, however its traveller friendly, maps are all around the corners, instructions on how to get to a place are posted in English and Korean characters. I could have survived easily if I brought with me the Korean-English Dictionary my son had bought me in exchange for a Korean Jacket he wants me to bring home, but I opted not to bring it knowing that I wont find difficulty in going around I can use English anyway.
